Rahr & Sons Brewing
Full Brand Identity | Logo Design | Packaging Design
Approaching 25 years in business, Rahr & Sons had built a reputation for exceptional craft beer, but their branding lacked cohesion. Each beer had its own unrelated design, and the brewery’s name often got lost. They needed a bold, unified identity that put Rahr & Sons front and center.
The Challenge:
The brand felt visually inconsistent and outdated, making it harder to stand out in a crowded market. The logo and packaging needed a modern refresh that maintained Rahr & Sons’ legacy while creating a stronger, more recognizable presence.
The Solution:
I led the logo redesign and packaging overhaul, creating a structured system that unifies the brand across its lineup. The new packaging ensures brand recognition on shelves, with a clear visual hierarchy that put the Rahr & Sons name center stage.
Beyond packaging and logo design, I developed a custom illustration system to extend the brand’s personality across merchandise, social media, and marketing materials. The new identity is modern, intentional, and built to last.

My Role: Creative Director, Brand Designer
As Creative Director and sole Brand Designer, I led the full brand identity redesign, from strategy to execution. This included the logo system, packaging, custom illustrations, and brand photography direction. Every design decision was made to establish a stronger, more unified presence while respecting the brewery’s legacy. The final result is a refreshed brand that stands out, connects with its audience, and is built for the long haul.
