Texas High Country

Brand Positioning & Messaging | Website Design

Texas High Country needed a bold, authentic brand presence that felt distinctly Texan without falling into tired THC clichés.

The Challenge:

The brand lacked cohesion and needed a clear identity, refined messaging, and a website that captured the adventurous, untamed spirit of Texas while remaining premium and approachable. The visual language had to blend rugged independence with curiosity and creativity, setting them apart in a crowded market.

The Solution:

I worked with Marketing and Account Director, Sage Randall, to refine the brand’s positioning, messaging, and digital presence. I designed a custom website that pairs bold visuals with an intuitive user experience, making the brand story and product offerings seamless to explore.

To expand the visual identity, I created a suite of custom illustrations inspired by rugged cowboy aliens, desert landscapes, and iconic Texas flora like cactus, aloe vera, and bluebonnets. These elements became a signature part of the brand, reinforcing a cohesive, unmistakable aesthetic across digital and print materials.

As Creative Director and Website Designer, I led the website design and UX, developed a custom illustration system, and collaborated on brand positioning and messaging. The final result is a bold, unconventional brand that merges Texas heritage with an elevated, forward-thinking identity.
