The Shameless Tourist is a luxury travel agency with a bold, recognizable brand. Our client, known for her signature red lipstick and sunglasses, wanted to elevate her brand without losing the illustration that made it unique. The goal was to refine the wordmark, update the website, and expand the brand’s visual identity to appeal to a more high-end clientele.
The Challenge:
While the illustrated logo was iconic, the overall brand lacked sophistication and versatility. The wordmark needed a modern, polished feel, and the website had to be updated to match the luxury services offered. Beyond the logo, Shameless Tourist needed a cohesive brand system, including secondary logos, submarks, social media templates, and a flexible visual identity to create consistency across all touchpoints.
The Solution:
We designed a refined wordmark that paired seamlessly with the existing illustration, balancing personality with a high-end feel. The brand system was expanded with a luxury color palette, typography system, submarks, and social media graphics, ensuring a cohesive presence across digital and print. The website was redesigned with an elegant, intuitive layout that elevated the brand’s online presence. Photography direction captured both the expertise of the team and the excitement of travel, reinforcing the brand’s credibility and personality.

As Creative Director, I led the brand refresh, website redesign, and overall creative direction, ensuring the brand felt elevated while staying true to its recognizable identity. I worked closely with our graphic designer and photographer to refine the visual identity, photography style, and brand positioning, making sure every element aligned with the luxury travel space.
Beyond design, I shaped the brand messaging and overall narrative, balancing high-end sophistication with the client’s approachable personality. I also directed photography and social content strategy, ensuring a polished representation of the brand. From logo refinement to marketing assets, every piece was crafted for consistency, flexibility, and long-term growth.

The Shameless Tourist photoshoot was all about capturing the brand’s energy, personality, and polished professionalism. We styled a bold, colorful wardrobe with travel suitcases and props to bring the luxury travel vibe to life. The shoot mixed natural-light studio sessions with in-office shots, balancing a high-end feel with a sense of adventure. I coordinated multiple team members, ensuring everything ran smoothly while highlighting the founder, her team, and the brand’s vibrant spirit. The final imagery is fresh, dynamic, and effortlessly aligned with the The Shameless Tourist brand.
